"I have to say Asdeka certainly took on the spirit which we hoped the Relay would have, even under the circumstances. When we were looking for entertainers I did wonder whether belly dancers would go down well. In hindsight it was one of the best parts of the week-end, I think the audience participation 22 hours into the relay shows how they took to you!

The ladies of Asdeka performed at the Stratford-upon-Avon Festival of Food in 2007. They certainly drew a crowd and added a new dimension to our event.
We are looking forward to working with them again in 2008.

The entertainment took everyone by surprise! A group of belly dancers appeared in middle-eastern attire and danced a series of exotic, seductive dances that sent blood pressures rising and caused the glass in the prow of the Ark to completely mist over! To rapturous applause, the dancers invited male diners to join them on the dance floor and some hitherto unknown gyrating talents were revealed amongst the gentlemen who had never before been known to wiggle their hips or expand their chest muscles.
